How do you see yourself in 2020?

By now, we’ve all made our New Year’s resolutions and committed to “being better” than we were last year – but what does that even mean? Maybe your goals are to actually use the treadmill in the garage, dust off the blender for green smoothies, cut carbs, sugar, and everything delicious, and wake up at 5AM to meditate. After all, we’re all in on the “New Year, New You” mentality…until a few weeks go by and things. get. hard. According to the U.S. News & World Report, the failure rate for New Year’s resolutions hovers at around 80 percent. Does this feel familiar? I think we’ve all been to this rodeo.

This January, we chose a word to live by as we go into this new decade – DEFINE. By defining our intentions, goals, and vision for 2020 (and beyond), we allow space for our health and wellbeing journey to take a few detours but get right back on course. Inevitably, workouts will be skipped and we’ll enjoy a few scoops of our friends Ben & Jerry – c’est la vie, such is life.

At Larson Family Medicine and Medical Aesthetics, we’re here to guide you with professional advice and natural results. Whether you want to define your face with a new skincare routine and injectables for a refreshed look or define your body with our medically-guided weight loss plans and Coolsculpting treatments, we’re here for you. You deserve more than a New Year’s resolution – let us help you define your decade!
